Who actually owns Ryobi
Ryobi power tools are made and sold by TTI (Techtronic Industries), a Hong Kong-listed group, under trademark licence from Ryobi Limited, a separate Japanese company. That's a genuinely different arrangement from Milwaukee, which TTI owns outright - both brands are marketed by the same parent group, but only one of them TTI actually owns.
